The New Way of Advertising and Marketing
As we said before, when it comes to improving sales and revenue in your business, when it comes to increasing the number of customers you have here in Hawaii, it pretty much comes down to two things... marketing and advertising. And in this business, they go hand-in-hand.
To get your business marketed, you have to advertise. If hundreds of thousands of visitors are coming to Hawaii every year and don't know you exist, or by the time they do realize you are there they have made plans otherwise... that's a problem. And unfortunately over here in Hawaii, its a very costly thing to fix.
Hybrid Media has several places to expose our clients' businesses to the visiting public, and we do it in a way that is much more economical, and the coverage is entirely better.
But something that is greatly missing, not only here in Hawaii but on the mainland as well, is marketing expertise for the small to medium sized business owner. A company like ours can GREATLY help any size company to grow and profit more... sometimes growing more than they could have ever hoped for. But oftentimes the cost is too high for companies that size to afford. Many times that can be true for the larger companies as well.
MARKETING IN A WHOLE DIFFERENT WAY
What we do is unheard of in our industry, and many think quite foolish... especially on the mainland.
In a nutshell, we aim to become the MARKETING ARM of our clients. We contract ourselves out to our clients, 12 months at a time, to not only give them advise on everything having to do with marketing, sales and advertising... but making sure that their business is hitting the marks it wants to hit. This makes us much more accountable to our clients, this makes us much more accessible to our clients to take care of their needs, and KEEPS THE COST DOWN OF US DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. In a very big way.
Instead of coming in for short periods of time for lots of money, to turn and give advise to the company that hired us, the advise they themselves must now execute... we do all of this entirely different. Our goal is to make it all work for our clients, over the long haul. To be accountable for our advise, and to be there to help them execute what we know will work. And let's face it, things change. What advise might work today may need some major adjusting six months down the road. Or perhaps you have a strong competitor that you need help dealing with. Those are the kinds of things we are here to do.
To many of our clients, much of this is foreign to them... which we completely understand. Again, in the "normal world of marketing", most of our clients would never be approached by a marketing firm... because they couldn't afford them. So to have someone walk in the door and start talking about the things we talk about to potential clients, well let's just say its not something that happens everyday.
For small to medium sized businesses to have a marketing firm "in their corner" can be priceless. Just like you know your business like the back of your hand, that's how we know marketing and sales. We also have the ability to take an honest "outsider's view" of your business... which helps tremendously as well.
The reason we said earlier that many, especially on the mainland, think that what we offer is foolish... the reason they say that is because in their opinions, we don't charge enough, we give away too much, and they feel like companies will take advantage of what all we offer. Many think that clients will take the early on advise and run with it, and leave us hanging in the wind.
Yes, that will probably happen from time to time, but we are about relationships... long term relationships with our clients. So we'll take our chances.
